The Arkhyz all-season mountain resort is located in the Arkhyz mountainous area of Karachay-Cherkessia (northern slopes of the Greater Caucasus). Opened in 2013, the tourist complex is rightfully considered to be one of the fastest growing resorts in Russia. In the last five years it was visited by over 800 thousand guests. The resort’s development strategy is aimed at creating conditions for a year-round comprehensive wellness and family vacation experience.

The key focus area of the resort is skiing. Thanks to the snowmaking system, the skiing season at Arkhyz lasts for almost six months. Modern cable cars lift the visitors to skiing pistes of various difficulty categories. The difficulty level of the pistes ranges from "black" to training zones for children. The resort employs coaches for every category of skiers, including children.

In summer guests of Arkhyz can do mountain biking, test their strength on open-air rope courses, or enjoy the beauty of the Caucasus Mountains and historical monuments of Karachay-Cherkessia while trekking on foot or travelling on horseback or by car along scenic routes.
